Montagny 1er Cru – Domaine des Vignes Bleues
The Vineyard
Covering 6 hectares, the vines are planted in the middle of the slopes, facing both East and South-East. They source the intensity and the minerality that is so typical of this Montagny 1er Cru in shallow chalkyclay soil rich in limestone.
Aging Process
Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, along with some maturing in stainless steel vats.
Tasting Notes
This golden coloured Bourgogne reveals a complex and attractive bouquet of citrus and white flowers. The refreshing taste reveals flavours of toasted bread and butter.
Accompaniment
This white wine can accompany many dishes such as salmon tartar or tuna, cod with sweet spices, fishes terrine, prawns or shellfish gratin. It can also be consumed with cheeses.
Advice
Best consumed within three and four years following harvest. Serving temperature between 11 and 13 °C.
